Ryanair Cabin Crew Strip Off For Charity

DUBLIN SIMON COMMUNITY TO RECEIVE €100,000 CHRISTMAS PRESENT FROM RYANAIR 2009 CABIN CREW CHARITY CALENDAR

Ryanair, Europe’s favourite low fares airline today (Mon 10 Nov) announced that its sexy cabin crew would again “get their kit off” for charity, as it published its 2009 Ryanair Cabin Crew Charity Calendar.

Ryanair today announced that the Dublin Simon Community (a charity which provides vital services for the homeless in Dublin) has been chosen from over 100 charities throughout Europe to receive the entire proceeds from the sale of the 2009 calendar, which with a print run of 10,000 should generate €100,000 of much needed funding for the Dublin homeless community.

Ryanair is proud of the efforts of its sexy cabin crew who last year launched a best selling charity calendar, which raised over €70,000 for the Angels Quest Charity. The 2009 edition, which was shot in Spain in September, is even more colourful and sexy and should sell like hot cakes. The calendar can be purchased either directly from Ryanair or through the Ryanair.com website (at a cost of just €10) but people should hurry and order their calendar now, as it will make the ideal Christmas present, or New Year Gift which will remind people not just of Europe’s favourite low fares airline, but the gorgeous girls you can meet on board Ryanair flights.

Ryanair has sent a free copy of the Ryanair Cabin Crew 2009 charity calendar to the Spanish Agency FACUA which last year objected to Ryanair’s 2008 calendar, despite the fact that it was a voluntary effort by cabin crew, with all proceeds going directly to a children’s respite charity. Ryanair expects that these humourless groups will again oppose Ryanair’s 2009 cabin crew calendar, but at least they will have the benefit of 13 stunning Ryanair babes throughout the year. Ryanair has also sent a free copy to Swedish politician Ms Birgitta Ohlsson, who recently launched an attack against a Ryanair ad which used a model in a short top and mini skirt, and claimed that Ryanair was exploiting women.

Once again Ryanair will continue to defend the right of girls to take their clothes off, particularly when it is for charity.

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“In 2009 Ryanair will bring its guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to over 60 million passengers. We will also bring some of Europe’s most beautiful girls, and we are proud that the efforts of our cabin crew will raise some €100,000 for the homeless people in Dublin. The Dublin Simon Community does fantastic work here in Ireland, and we are proud that our 2009 cabin crew charity calendar will make such an enormous difference to the work of the Dublin Simon Community next year.

“With today’s official launch of the calendar, we are pleased to say it can be bought directly from Dublin Simon Community, on board our aircraft or can be ordered directly on http://www.ryanair.com. All proceeds will go directly to the Dublin Simon Community, so we urge people to brighten up a loved one’s New Year by picking up this year’s hottest gift, the Ryanair cabin crew charity calendar."

The Dublin Simon Community’s Sam McGuinness said:

“The number of people requiring the assistance of our Rough Sleeper Team rose by 50% during the first half of the year. We are frustrated that the chance was not taken during better economic times to eliminate homelessness and as our economy changes we are faced with the prospect of even more people facing into tougher and less secure times.

“Dublin Simon would like to thank all of Ryanair staff who volunteered to take part in this very worthwhile project. With Government funding constraints we now, more than ever, depend on the generosity of corporate supporters, such as Ryanair, to continue to provide services and shelter to those seeking our assistance.”
