RYANAIR - $240M INVESTMENT IN NEW LIVERPOOL BASE

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 low fares airline, today (22nd Nov 2004) announced it’s 12th European base at Liverpool’s John Lennon Airport with an investment of $240M in 4 new Boeing 737-800 series aircraft and 9 NEW European routes from Liverpool to:

NEW ROUTES:
BARCELONA (REUS),LIMOGES, PISA, CORK, MURCIA, SHANNON
GRANADA, NIMES & VENICE

And:-

RYANAIR ANNOUNCES 4 NEW ROUTES FROM LONDON TO CZECH REPUBLIC – IRELAND – POLAND - SPAIN

Ryanair, Europe’s No.1 low fares airline, today (19th Nov. 04) announced four new daily routes from London Stansted to Brno (Czech Republic), Granada (Spain) Wroclaw (Poland), and a new daily service from Gatwick to Knock (Ireland). In addition, Ryanair also announced increased frequency on its existing routes from London Stansted to Cork (from 3 to 4 x daily), Shannon (from 2 to 4 x daily) plus a second daily summer service to Nimes (France) from London.

Hat jemand eine Ahnung wie viele neue 738 FR denn noch bekommen wird und wann?

It would be perfect if Ryanair does LPL from NRN. This is the fastest way to the Macchynlleth Loop Area!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

Do I understand this right, that Liverpool is the first base where Ryanair and Easyjet are operating simultaneously???. ( :D glad i got that word on the screen...)

Yes, that is true, but as you see there are no routes that are operated by both carriers.
So big talk about competition from O´Leary, but no competition. :!:

and what is with the two bases in Stansted and Luton? :wink:
