NO, NO, NO!!!! Not with A320's. Dutchbird doesn't have A320's anymore. The A320's went back to the leasecompany because of some sort of fight between this company and Dutchbird/ Holland Exel!!!!!!!

Holland Exel does not want the A320's either. The Airbus crews are going to be converted for the B757.

Wenn Öger nicht bei Holland Excel einsteigt müssten es 3 sein.

Die Aussage mit den täglichen Flügen zwischen AYT und NRN und mit A320 von DBR kann ja gar nicht richtig sein.

Nach der Übernahme gehen alle A320 der DBR an die Leasinggeber zurück

DBR has indeed returned their A320's (PH-BMC and PH-BMD) to the two leasecompany's. DBR will continue to operate with the B752's (because they've the same cockpit layout as Holland Exel's B763's) and they're probably going to start short haul operations with B733's. The fleet of Holland Exel/Dutchbird will be a complete Boeing-fleet in the near future.

I think that when DBR is going to operate a weekly flight to AYT, they will operate the flight with a B752. When DBR will operate a daily flight to AYT, they will probably use B733's.

First, Exel made a shocking bid for the Dutch airline. This was later cancelled. After lots of hesitation, a new bid was created. Everyone expected that the Dutchbird-brand was going ot dissappear. The Dutch newspapers already stated that the merger was complete, yet now the Dutch media stated that after the Air Holland drug affairs, Exel Aviation (owning the ashes of Air Holland, now Holland Exel) has decided to leave Dutchbird alone. During these bids, the Dutchbird brand has lost lots of its ego, since it was such an established airline, winning the Charter Airline Prize in Holland. First, the bid of Exel was too low. Next, the case was left for a while, and a new bid came, showing how much Dutchbird was really worth. It seemed like all the payments were over, and everything was set. Speculation about hte 757's being sold, and the A320's being replaced by 737's were all a dream, since Exel believes, "dutchbird is not good enough for the Exel brand" It won't surprise me if De Vlieger, the owner of Exel will bid again in the near future!"

For a 2nd time, the Dutchbird bid has been cancelled. This time, it is because Air Holland was caught smuggling drugs, and Air Holland is now part of Exel. Before, it seemed like the 2 companies were aleady "married," since the first bid was low and regected, but the second bid was accepted 2 weeks back. All seemed well, till I got the shocking news today. Probably, the 2 will get together soon, like before.
