Ryanair Introduces 8 New Routes

RYANAIR'S EUROPEAN ROUTE EXPANSION
HALF PRICE SEAT SALE

Ryanair, Europe’s largest low fares airline, today (22nd Jan) announced the introduction of eight new routes throughout Europe including four new routes from Reus (Barcelona) where it will base a third new Boeing 737-800 aircraft in an expansion which will bring four new routes to the airport from June and bring Ryanair’s total investment in the airport to $210million.

Ryanair’s new Reus (Barcelona) routes will operate to Bournemouth, Eindhoven, Nador and Poznan increasing Ryanair’s traffic at Reus to 1 million p.a. which will sustain 1,000 local jobs and deliver more than €150million in tourism revenues for Reus and Catalonia.

Ryanair announced the introduction of new routes from Bournemouth, Bremen, Faro, Limoges and London Luton (see tables below).

Ryanair celebrated the announcement of these new aircraft, routes and increased traffic by knocking 50% off the cost of its 1million lowest fare (to just €5, one way incl. taxes and charges) seats for travel across its European network in February and March which are available for booking on http://www.ryanair.com before midnight Sunday 25th January. Seats on Ryanair’s new routes begin at just €10 (one way including taxes and charges) and can be booked immediately on http://www.ryanair.com .

Ryanair’s Stephen McNamara said:

“Ryanair continues to offer great new routes so that passengers can beat the recession by flying at Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges to exciting destinations all over Europe. Ryanair will continue to grow as other airlines pull routes and reduce capacity. With passengers becoming increasingly price sensitive Ryanair will continue to expand so that even more passengers can take advantage of Ryanair’s guaranteed lowest fares and no fuel surcharges.

To celebrate these new aircraft and routes Ryanair is halving the cost of 1 Million seats to just €5 for travel across Europe in February and March. Seats on our exciting new routes begin at just €10. These seats will be snapped up fast and are available for booking on http://www.ryanair.com before midnight Sunday.”
