Martin

Hi@all,
Groeten, Ton

I think it is absolutely correct to post News like this in its original source!airwatch hat geschrieben:Independent of of these nice arguments for languages (which might be totally true and correct), why do you have forum rules? If you outrightly say you will not honor or keep them?
And there it clearly says, forum languages are German and English.
airwatch - always alert
If someone translates it to english or german there is always a little change in the meaning of it.
My wish to all members:
Never post anything translated without its original source in any language it is.
@airwatch
Our Airport is nearly dutch, we all live only a few km's from this border, we have a lot of NL users, so it should also be allowed to post something in dutch!

Verlag:Reise Know-How Verlag Peter Rump GmbH
Autor: O´Niel V. Som
@pmi:
Sabah el-Cher!
Tavataan taas!

Taalstrijd???
Hi@all,
Groeten, Ton

The Forum rules very clearly state POSTINGS CAN BE IN GERMAN OR ENGLISH, and as long as this is stated that way, thats how it should be.
In most other forums, if you would start posting in a non-authorised language, the member would be warned, his postings erased, and if he continues, kicked out.
Naturally, quotes of articles can be in ANY language, but the gist of it should then be translated. and a quote is a quote, not a number of X articles.
I think plain courtesy requires all members to stick to forum rules.
That Dutch might be a language of interest to this community, and the WEEZE airport in general, is out of question. This can be discussed, in the most friendly way (but in German and English only, initially), and then the powers-to-be might change the forum rules. Our Belgian friends (about 100km away only) will then insist, that French will also be officially permitted.
airwatch - always alert
PS: There are plenty of forum that are multi-language. Why then not have a Dutch-Only corner in this one?

What is this discussion about?
First of all........... this forum is a Dutch- German cooperation.
We (The Dutch) said that we can also post in English, because most of the German people doesn't read Dutch that well. If there is someone who is every now and then posting in Dutch (Doesn't matter what the reason is), my opinion is that you should not complain.
We are trying to post in German or English, so please just accept that every now and then there is something on the forum in Dutch! I think you should be happy that the Dutch are willing to write in German or English or at least try so!
THIS POSTING IS NOT PERSONEL, SO DO NOT GET ANGRY BECAUSE OF IT!!!!!

@ airwatch: I don´t understand your point of view. NRN is a german airport lying next to the dutch border, the ceo is dutch an a huge amount of paxes are dutch. So it´s easy to accept those languages as forum-languages. Additional for the rest of the world, interested in NRN there is english also be allowed.
I hope the french speaking people are able to understand english!

Nog meer slecht nieuws!
Hi@all,
