Ich möchte nochmal was klarstellen:

1. In jedem Reisebüro am Airport kann man NRN-AYT buchen und es wird von den meisten auch forciert. Aber wie soll ich meine Kunden überzeugen von Weeze zu fliegen, wenn man in DUS für 100,- Öros weniger fliegen kann?

People from the Netherlands might want to fly from NRN even if it's a little more expensive than DUS or AMS, because of the easy connection for them to the airport and all the other advantages that Regional Airports have. But they don't know it's possible and there are no companies (including NRN itself) that do their best to make it well known.

4. Ausserdem ist eine Maschine nach AYT meiner Meinung nach auch genug. Sollte einestages von NRN mal wieder was Richtung Kanaren gehen könnte man mal wieder den Umsatz steigern.

I agree with the weekend thing. Out of the weekend is only possible if you have enough connections in the weekend or in the high season. (although wednesday also seems to be a popular day in Germany to fly to Faro, Mallorca en Antalya, i'm always wondering how you do that ).
But it's ridiculous that there can only 1 or 2 planes a week be filled from NRN. If Eindhoven can fill so many flights in a week as they do now, NRN at least can fill 50% of that.
It's all about that people know that the possibility is there! And they don't, which I still think is very very weird.

Ist doch überhaupt kein Vergleich! Holland hat ja nix anderes als AMS,EIN,MST und Rotterdam. Viele bekannte von mir (aus Zeeland zum Bleistift) fliegen von EIN weil die kein Bock auf AMS haben. Eindhoven liegt zentral und ist auch gut für Belgier erreichbar. Wenn man mal in Nijmegen ne Umfrage machen würde, dann würde mit Sicherheit rauskommen das kaum einer NRN kennt! NRN würde aber nur gut laufen wenn wir mehr holländische Kunden hätten denn die deutschen hier im nahen Umland sind einfach nicht genug. Hier gibt es nun mal keine Metropole. Die Ruhrpottler haben genug grössere Airports näher bei sich mit viel grösserem Angebot. Wenn wir alle Holländer die sonst nach Düsseldorf fahren zu uns bekommen würden, dann könnte man echt realistisch davon ausgehen das NRN erst 2010 Konkurs meldet...

Jetzt beschimpft mich...

So lange keine Airline mit einem "nennenswerten" Flugplan NRN ansteuert, kann man das leider wirklich knicken.
Es müsste doch nur eine kleine Airline sein, die ihr Risoko an ein paar VA veteilt und das ganze am besten aus dem Mittelstück fliegt.

Was für ne Schönrechnerei habe ich betrieben??? Ich habe lediglich festgestellt, dass EIN mit ca. 200000 Einwohnern kaum größer ist als Nijmegen mit 160.000 Einwohnern, um klar zu machen, dass bei uns ähnliches Potenzial herrscht, um nen Flughafen zu betreiben wie in Eindhoven. Wenn du jetzt sagst NRN hat eben nicht dieses Potenzial, dann müssen wir auch sagen, macht ihn dicht, hat halt keinen Zweck!

@ADiego, I agree with you about the potential of NRN. But, like I said, the average people still don't know about NRN.

That we only think cheap is not true. We combine the price and the easiest way. For me, living in the south-east of the netherlands, it's so much easier to go to DUS/NRN/EIN/CGN than to go to AMS or BRU. Last 4 years I flew at least 6 times from DUS/NRN/CGN. Like me there are many others, look at the parking places at CGN and DUS, many Dutch cars. And like Diego said, with a city like Nijmegen in your neighbour, there is far enough potential! But, there has to be enough offers at the travel offices and different destinations.

Very much depends on good marketing and to be honoust..... NRN has absolutely no good marketing (At least not visible for the customers, while in my opinion.... they are the most important)

We are not even able to fill 2 Planes to AYT! Ryanair doesn´t help this Airport and their travel agencies!

Yeah sure, in DUS are much cars from Holland. I allready worked in DUS also and everytime if I tell dutch costumers that there is an Airport in Weeze they are comlpetely surprised! By the way, here in NRN we have dutch costumers from the little villages nearby but not of the cities like Nijmegen,Venlo or Eindhoven...

We don´t need loco-Airlines here! Good would be a dutch airline or a big german carrier with much different possibilities of destinations. Otherwise we won´t conquer the dutch market.

At the end: Yes, the marketing here is completely bullshit! We just had the WORLD GAMES in the Ruhrgebiet and guess who was a big sponsor with much commercial? Yeah, Airport DUS! There was not any commercial of NRN and that shows how unprofessionell und stupid the people (MR.Xxxxxxx) work here in NRN. That he still has the job...tzzzzz...

Die Aussage, es kämen nur niederländische Paxe aus der Grenzregion, kann man definitiv nicht so stehen lassen! Es nutzen beispielsweise viele Gäste den Shuttle-Service, um für günstiges Geld vom Flughafen nach Arnheim zu kommen, um z. B. von dort mit der Bahn weiter nach AMS zu fahren. Auch lassen sich viele zum Bahnhof Venray chauffieren, um von dort in die Region Venlo/Eindhoven zu gelangen. Daher kann ich Deine o. a. Meinung nicht als Aussage werten, sondern nur als persönliches Empfinden.

Blödsinn, das persönliche Angreifen in Form von Nennung eines bestimmten Namens erfüllt in Deutschland den Sachstand der Beleidigung und der üblen Nachrede. Für beides kann man hier angezeigt und bestraft werden, nach neuester Rechtsprechung übrigens auch der Verantwortliche für dieses Forum hier *nur zur Info für diejenigen, die das bisher noch nicht wissen!!!*.

Denkt mal drüber nach, wie bzw. in welcher Form hier wer angegriffen wird...
