NRN-CEO Van Elk will give a speaking at monday 20th, 20.00hours at the faculty of Aerospace Engineering, TUDelft (technical university), the netherlands. It'll be about forming a civil airport from a military airbase

I was there, and van Elk said the following on questions from my side:

There will be talks in Madrid with Basiqair/transavia and some other airliners this weekend and beginning of next week. NRN en Basiqair are already talking for a while.

In a few weeks 2000 new parking places will be opened.

Ryanair considers to start within a half year 3 more routes to western and southern european cities.

NRN is talking with several parties for flight to Poland.

NRN thinks to make break-even in 2006/2007. Now they make a small loss, which is completely normal for a starting airport and, comparing to other airports, is very low

2000 new parkings spaces?? Does anyone know how many parkingspace NRN has at the moment? I think these spaces will be created between the ols buildings in due south of P1.

NRN hat z.Zt. 2800 "offizielle" Parkplätze. 1000 auf P1 und 1800 auf P2.
Ein "P3" denke ich, würde auf der Fläche südlich von P1 / östlich von P2 errichtet.

Hmm, mit starten könnten natürlich auch Flugaufnahme gemeint sein. Sprich es könnten auch Stockholm, Rom und Girona gemeint sein, oder?

Was wirklich neu ist an dieser Aussage ist das:

Eines ist sicher! Die 2000! neuen Plätze sind nicht für die jetzigen Flüge von FR und VBird, un die paar FR Paxe die dazu kommen werden auch noch auf den vorhandenen unterkommen.

Bin mal gespannt wann denn mit dem Bau begonnen würde, denn er sagte ja "will be opend". Hab ich also noch nicht alles so ganz dicke.

Sollten die 2000 zus. Plätze auch noch belegt werden müssen aber auch noch "Parkplätze" für die Maschinen vorhanden sein. Da war es aber auch jetzt schon mal eng
