Nordrhein Westfalen roundtrip

Today, Triple, Copter and I made a little spotting roundtrip through Nordrhein Westfalen.

Off course, we started at Niederrhein, in the hope to see the Dreamliner. Fortunately we had much luck and saw the Dreamliner in a beautiful but dull morningsun.

After NRN, we went to Dortmund via some small airfields. At Dortmund we first made some pictures of the BK117 of the Police, which came in at the moment we were at the Policehangar.

After parking the car, we walked to the terminal and saw at first the D-ABAF of Air Berlin and the G-EZEG of Easyjet. Unfortunately it was unable to photograph both of them. After a while the A230 of WIZZ Air came in and lucky for us, this one was parked right in front of us.

Copter liked to go to Ahlen, base of Agrarflug. This is just a farm with a large shed full of nice helicopters.

This is the former control tower at the Army Air Corps airfield in Soest.


Not much activity at Soest, this Hawk was one of the few movements.


It was a nice day! We visited 3 airfields (NRN, DTM, PAD) and some smaller airfields and two helipaths.
