TUI launches integrated online sales platform
TUI has launched a new integrated online sales platform for the German market under the tui.com address. The new portal replaces the tui.de website and integrates most of the group’s German tour operator brands. It offers package and individual holidays, flights, hire cars, hotels, holiday apartments and homes, and other travel products. Brands such as Robinson, Wolters and 1-2-Fly are now combined with TUI on a single site. Airtours holidays and airline offers will be integrated early in 2006. Hotel offers from the tui-hotels.com website are also integrated into the new platform. The previous tui.de website had some 259 million page impressions in December, about 40% more than one year earlier.
