Nice.

I just found back some pictures of me at an airshow at Eelde at may 19 of 1986 (I was only eight years old).

Also two F111's of Upper Heyford were there. They didn't land but made a few flyby's. Unfortunately I cannot remember a thing of it.

The only thing I can clearly remember is a Saab Safir on a pole

According to Stefan G. of Scramble the F111 picture is for 99% sure made at Eindhoven Airbase in 1982 and not at Laarbruch.

Im September 1982 gab es auf Laarbruch einen großen Flugtag. Damals gab es ein auch großes Static Display mit vielen interessanten Gästen (und eine tolle Flugshow und am Ende die atemberaubende Vorstellung der Red Arrows). An eine F 111 kann ich mich allerdings auch nicht erinnern; nach dem Urlaub werde ich mal nachschauen, ob eine dabei war.

Richtig, das sind definitiv zwei F 111 auf Laarbruch. 1989, 1994 und 1998 waren aber auch Flugtage, und bei dem Foto tippe ich auf 1989.

I don`t know when exactly, but I'm almost sure that there were some Lockheed L-1011 planes. Perhaps during the first Golf War.
