Eindhoven dicht Onur Air vluchten naar Niederrhein.

Beitrag von Dutchbird »

Hallo

Jeffrey told that during the temporarly closing (01 to 05 june) of Eindhoven airport all Onur Air flights are possibly diverted to Niederrhein. This should be 6 flights.

Nothing officialy confirmed yet.

See ya

He also told us that type of a/c are A321 since A300 my not land in Niederrhein because it's too big.....

Onur Air had the intention to fly every friday to antalya from NRN with A300. This has been cancelled because A300 may not land in NRN

Very strange, because they land in Rotterdan all the time:

Runway Lenght Rotterdam 2200meters
Runway Lenght NRN 2450meters

It probably has something to do with the taxiways or apron :?

Hello Triple Nickel,

Could it be any thing to do with how many crash crews/tenders are available :?:

I think the reason that the A300 is not allowed at NRN is just politically. I don't trust the bezirksregierung at this point. They listen too much to Bergen and Goch... :?
The runway is ok, the taxiways are ok (if they aren't they can just backtrack the runway) the platform is ok. The only thing I don't know is the capacity of the fire-armers.
But I think it's because they (government) don't allow NRN to be succesfull...

Never stop a hard-running machine
Just take a close look at the number of visitors on 1st & 2nd of May.
Than take a further look on the number of people, who rage against the rising on NRN.
If I´m allowed to take a wild guess, I´d like to calculate (not knowing exactly the right differences) that one denier stands against about 100 supporters, maybe less...

The Government has forbidden some bigger planes in the past before (Tu154, AN22, A300), so in the Onur Air Story, they also said no. They just don't allow NRN to grow bigger. But there is going go be a time, that they cannot say NO anymore.

I think you are right, but I also guess this will change, when the "Staatsvertrag will be signed and the Courtyard will have made a decision.

At the moment, I guess, they don't dare to allow more than the ones written in the permission.
